Common Questions About Our Party Rentals
- What's your most popular item? - Currently our gold flatware and etched glassware are very popular for party rentals. Our hemstitch linen napkins and runners are another faviorite as we will fold the napkins in advance of the event.
- Will there be enough time to repurpose pieces during my event? - Yes, if there's decor pieces such as lanterns that you want to use for lighting at the ceremony, certainly work with your event coordinator or planner to have the rentals incorporated into your reception as well.
- Will you deliver and pickup the rentals? - Sparrow Lane provides delivery and pickup for rentals as long as you meet our rental minimum.
- Does servingware rentals need to be cleaned prior to returning? - No, we just ask that the rental items are wiped largely free of food.
- What happens if there is minor damage to an item? - Sparrow Lane collects a 5% damage waiver to cover these smaller accidents that do not exceed the amount collected for the damage waiver.
- Are all taxes and service fees quoted up front? - Yes, all taxes and applicable service fees are included on the quote. However other service fees may be assesed if for unforseen circumstances.
- How long is the rental period? - For one day events we charge a flat rate for the rental period, with delivery 1-2 days prior to the event and pickup 1-2 days following the event. We are able work around your event needs, so just let us know in advance what the requirements are for your venue.
- What is the right number of servingware pieces for your guest count? - You'll always want to allow for extras on top of your numbers (don't forget to include vendors and the couple in the guest count). Sparrow Lane can help you estimate numbers on a case by case basis for your party.
- What happens if a rental item is unavailable for your date unexpectedly? - We specifically avoid overbooking rental items to make sure this situation does not happen. However, if something unexpected was to occur, we would work with the clients to help find the most suitable replacement possible. Including working with other outside party rental vendors.
- Do you help couples with budgeting when planning for party equipment? - We love helping couples finding the right match for their rental items and what will work within their finances. Our rentals cater to different price points, allowing for couples to work within their budget.
- Do you offer party tent rentals or chairs tables? - No, we do not offer any tents tables or chairs, but we are happy to refer you to other local companies in the area. Such as a great place for an affordable tent.
