Specialty Flatware Collections for Elevated Boston Settings

For one day, short term events we charge a flat rate for the rental period, with delivery 1-2 days prior to the event and pickup 1-2 days following the event. We are able to work around your event needs, so just let us know in advance what the requirements are for your event venue.

We've delivered throughout many of the local neighborhoods in Boston including the North End, Boston Commons, and financial district.

Flatware should be free of large food particles and returned to the grey flatware bins. There is no need to clean the rentals as these are all cleaned by our team at our commercial kitchen.

A refined table setting should be as functional as it is beautiful. We recommend selecting only the specialty flatware pieces that correspond to your specific menu. By matching your cutlery to the courses being served—you ensure a purposeful tablescape for your guests.

We suggest a 5-10% buffer for possible additional guests or need and for when guests accidentally drop a piece.

It depends on your lighting and vibe. Polished finishes (like our Forged Gold) reflect candlelight beautifully and feel more traditionally formal. Brushed finishes (like Matte Gold) offer a more natural look that softens the table.

The Sparrow Lane standard includes a meticulous polishing process for every piece before it leaves our warehouse. We know that under the bright lights of a Boston ballroom, every smudge shows.

Currently we offer a steak knife in the Matte Gold Setting. The dinner knife from our Forged Collections has a substantial serated edge that is able to handle steak and thicker cuts of meat.
